Todd Township is located in Southwestern Huntingdon County, consisting of 44.8 square miles with 25.51 miles of township roads, population approx. 952. Beautiful Trough Creek State Park is located in the township with 12 miles of hiking trails, Rainbow Falls, the Ice Mine and Balanced Rock along with other attractions.

Railroad Enthusiasts! The East Broad Top Railroad used to run through Todd Township on it’s way through coal country! EBT historians would like to create an EBT Mountain Heritage Committee with participants from Todd Township, Wood Township, Huntingdon County, Heritage Groups, municipal partners, businesses and the general public. Purpose: To support the restoration of the EBT Railroad to Robertsdale/Wood; encourage community support, development of entrepreneurship opportunities, various community improvement activities and to offer encouragement and input into the multi-phase EBT restoration project with the spotlight on the “mountain” section of the railroad and its relationship to the heritage of coal mining.

Meetings will be held at the Todd Township and Wood Township municipal buildings.
